I want a close relationship with my DAD but don't have it
I want to be a great DAD and I don’t know how
Dad says he loves me but I just don’t feel it
I’m trying to express my love but the kids just don’t get it
My Dad deserted us when I was a kid, now how am I supposed to father
I can handle a staff of 50 at work but not two teens at home
Any of those stories your own?
Here’s my story
My father was a very successful engineer.
But he and I never got along
We fought all the time.
One day, when I was 17, I told him,
"I always wanted a close relationship with you,
but we don't have it."
I watched as three tears squeezed out of his eyes.
He said, "I've been trying your whole life,
I just don't know how to do it."
Since that day, we haven't argued.
I got it.
I understood his deep love for me and his pain.
There are a lot of successful men out
that can handle a staff of hundreds,
but not two teenagers at home.
They love their kids dearly.
But they don't know how to express it
in a way that their kids understand it.
Which means there's great pain
in one of the most important relationships in their lives.
I offer adventure programs
that create the environment
for this relationship to blossum.
I offer coaching program for fathers
so they can become Great Dads.
The benefits are a lifetime of intimacy
with the most important people in our lives,
and children who feel the love.
